We process the name, email and password you enter here to create your applicant account and handle your application, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract, at your request). Later, if you complete an application, a recruiter may send your CV text, cover letter, name and profile headline to an external AI service outside the EU/EEA to help assess it — it produces a score and a rationale for a human recruiter and never decides alone.
Your data is stored by our hosting provider as processor and deleted after the statutory retention period (typically six months after the decision). You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — where you live, work, or where the issue arose, or with ours, the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (LfDI Baden-Württemberg). Providing this data is necessary to create an account and apply; without it we cannot process your application. No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
