Product Description
The LED48RM is a non-isolated constant current / constant voltage digital DIN Rail buck LED driver with perfect steady-state output stability. It is designed to drive LED modules directly from a 48 V DC control-cabinet bus. The input voltage ranges from 8 V to 50 V. The output voltage must not exceed 90 % of the input voltage. The device is programmable over Modbus holding registers. Output current and voltage limits can be set and read back via Modbus.
Operation has been verified down to -40 °C ambient. Hot-end thermal derating is application-specific.
Comprehensive programming tools are available.
The device supports an output peak current of Iout,pk=8 A. By default it is configured to Uout=48 V and Iout=5 A.
The device is resilient to typical operating failures: input reverse polarity, output short circuit, open circuit, moderate input transients.

The LED48 is the specialised LED-driver variant: compared with the DCP48, it supports a higher output voltage, has a monitoring/status relay and blink mode, and it is not designed for output paralleling. The LED48RM model is a DIN Rail Modbus CC/CV DC/DC LED driver (48 V, 8 A peak, programmable output via Modbus) intended for LED applications; the DCP48M is for general use and does not support blink mode, while the DCP48 has no monitoring relay.
