AI Coder for Webshop (Working Student, Remote) (m/w/d)
Join DPS as a remote working student AI Coder: build and automate our Go-based webshop with Docker, databases, and AI tools, delivering precise and secure results.
About the role
At Digital Power Systems (DPS), we specialize in B2B power-electronics manufacturing, and our websales team is expanding the digital backbone of our business. We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy working student to join us as an AI Coder for our webshop.
You will work on a Go-based server application that powers our online sales channels, leveraging technologies like Docker and databases. A key part of this role is using AI coding assistants—such as Claude Code—to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks, and integrate intelligent features. We believe in the power of clear prompting and efficient workflows to deliver precise, secure, and high-quality results.
This is a remote-first position that fits around your university schedule. You will collaborate closely with our websales and IT teams, contributing to real-world projects that make an impact. If you love automating processes, thinking about security from the ground up, and pushing the boundaries of what AI can do for software development, this role is for you.

- Currently enrolled as a student in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineerung or a comparable field
- Strong programming experience in Go (or similar languages) and familiarity with databases and Docker
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar, and a passion for automation
- Confident working on the command line, managing servers via SSH, and applying security best practices
- Proficient use of Git for version control and collaborative development
- Very good English communication skills (written and spoken)
- A structured, detail-oriented, and results-driven work ethic
Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience developing or maintaining e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Please include a brief overview of your previous projects and the programming languages you are proficient with in your application.
