Production Staff (m/w/d)

Full-time On-site Karlsruhe-Oststadt (Germany) Manufacturing
€14–€16 / hour Salary

Join our manufacturing team in Karlsruhe as Production Staff (m/w/d) – full-time or part-time, flexible mornings, independent work.

About the role

Digital Power Systems (DPS) is a B2B power-electronics manufacturer based in Karlsruhe, Germany. We develop and produce advanced solutions for a global customer base. To strengthen our Manufacturing team, we are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Production Staff (m/w/d) to join us on-site in Karlsruhe-Oststadt.

In this role, you will be hands-on with our production processes: inspecting soldering printed circuit boards (PCBs), assembling them into cases, running functional tests, and applying labels with precision. Your keen eye for quality will help us catch defects and imperfections early, ensuring every product meets our high standards. You will follow strict quality instructions and contribute to continuous improvement.

We offer this position on both a full-time and part-time basis. Part-time schedules can be arranged flexibly—for instance, working only in the mornings or having a specific day off during the week. The initial contract is limited to three months, with a clear prospect of extension and long-term collaboration for strong performers. You will work closely with a supportive team, receive thorough training on our products and processes, and use modern tools in a well-organized production environment.

What you bring

  • Proven ability to solder electronic components down to 0402 size (hand-soldering experience required).
  • Comfortable reading and understanding work instructions in English (B1 or above) and/or German (B1 or above).
  • High level of manual dexterity and cleanliness in handling sensitive electronic assemblies.
  • Ability to perform detailed visual inspections of PCBs and finished products to identify defects and ensure label accuracy.
  • Reliable, structured, and able to adhere to precise process guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently deliver high-quality output without direct supervision.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with functional testing of electronic assemblies.
  • Nice-to-have: Previous work in an ISO-certified production environment.

What we offer

  • Thorough onboarding and training in our products and processes.
  • A modern, well-equipped production workplace in Karlsruhe-Oststadt.
  • Flexible working hours and part-time options (e.g., mornings-only or select weekdays off).
  • A structured work environment with clear processes and responsibilities.
  • Perspective for a permanent position following successful completion of the initial contract period.
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture that values precision and quality.
  • Your application data will be processed exclusively for recruitment purposes and deleted within six months in accordance with data protection regulations.
