Product Description

The PM23 is an 8.8 mm wide paralleling module based on 100 V Schottky diodes. It provides redundancy and output current increase for system voltages from 5 V to 50 V. It is designed for operation with AC/DC and DC/DC converters.

The device tolerates two typical operating faults: input reverse polarity and open circuit operation. It does not contain a fuse and provides no short circuit or over-temperature protection.

The operating temperature range is −40 °C to 50 °C. Derating is required above 30 °C.

The PM23 uses 100 V Schottky diodes, not ideal diodes. As a non-ideal diode module, significant heat is produced at high output loads. If more power is required, paralleling diode strings is an option. The module provides three channels rated at 2 A each and can be paralleled for up to 6 A total. It supports system voltages from 5 V to 50 V and operates in a temperature range of −40 °C to 50 °C, with derating above 30 °C.
